Kristin and Andrew were nothing short of wonderful to work with. They live in Florida, so when Kristin contacted me everything was via email and phone…until December when they came to STL for the holidays and we did their Engagement Session. Kristin has such a bubbly personality...I’m pretty sure that she smiles 99% of the time. Andrew was personable and patient with the all the pictures and that's a big order for most grooms. {grin} There wedding was at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Old Monroe, MO. It was a GREAT day and I’m sure you’ll agree that Kristin made a beautiful bride! I have to say that one of the highlights of the day was going to a little bar in Old Monroe with the bridal party. What a fun bunch! There were lots of laughs and it was clear that it was only the beginning of a memorable reception. Kristen and Andrew…I wish you the absolute best and thank you for allowing me to capture your BIG day.

Chelsea & Derek: Tying the Knot
When I first met Derek & Chelsea, I knew that capturing
their BIG day would be GREAT! They wanted
to keep the day less traditional…and more fun.
I’ll just state upfront, that they accomplished that quite well. {grin}
Their simple, yet quaint ceremony was at the north pond at the Arch. It was a gorgeous day and everything radiated
with life and color!! Following the ceremony,
Chelsea and Derek left on Segways. Yes, you
read that right….Segways! Their
reception was at the City Museum and it was so fitting for this young, fun and
playful couple! It’s always hard to
narrow down images to post following weddings, because there are so many to
choose from. My goal is to have you, the
reader, get a good feel for the day….almost as if you’d been there. I had a FABULOUS time capturing this wedding
day! ...and a BIG thanks to Steve, my second shooter!! Chelsea and Derek –
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I wish you both
nothing but lots of love, smiles and memories!
Cheers!

Chelsea & Derek: Tying the Knot Sneak Peek
I don't normally blog sneak peek's
anymore {I utilize KLP facebook page for that), but I couldn't resist
sharing this one from Chelsea & Derek's wedding this past
weekend! There was a different dynamic with this one from other weddings I've
captured. It was fun, light and informal on many levels; however, the mood
for the day had love written all over it. {grin} In going through
the images…this image really caught my attention and made me smile. First and foremost, it's FUN! But, I LOVE the composition…the arch, a bit of the Saint Louis skyline and in the center of it all - Chelsea & Derek bopping along. Enjoy!

2010 | Top 10 ‘Tying the Knot’ Moments
The beauty and simplicity in these pictures eludes me….truly! I couldn’t have asked for better weddings to be a part of this past year. To pick these 10 images was again difficult, but each one is memorable in its own way. Each wedding was amazing on all levels and the memories made and captured will last for years. I’m excited to see this entity of my business grow more in the coming year. Here is to great things in 2011!

Massey Wedding | Tying the Knot
This is so overdue and I apologize for that, but the end of the year got away from me and I merely did what was necessary and as a result got behind on my blogs. This beautiful couple was such a delight to work with on all levels and it was such a privilege to capture their BIG day for them! {Let me shout out real quick to Angie Harrington who was my second shooter that day….girl, I really enjoyed having you there!} The day was full of smiles and an overwhelming sense of contentment, gratitude and love. I’ve become a fan of Alton, IL now. It’s a quaint area and the downtown has that “old, friendly” feel to it. Perfect for pictures! {smile} Here are a mere few pictures from the day. ENJOY! Erin and David…I wish all the best!

Steenbergen Wedding | Tying the Knot
From the moment I arrived at Room 505 at Chateau on the Lake in Branson, Missouri the day felt magical on so many levels. Jessica radiated in beauty and I could sense the anticipation from her and her three beautiful girls - Julia, Allison, and Gabrielle!! Keith and his son, Lucas both looked sharp in their tuxedos and their eyes sparkled with excitement as well. Seeing this blended family become one was such a privilege. It was a beautiful day and I'm not sure we could of ordered a better day for weather! Some things I personally enjoyed about this wedding was that Jessica didn't see her ring (she didn't have an engagement ring and this ring will serve as both her engagement and wedding ring) until the ceremony. I also loved that they used a picture from their recent family session with me as their guest book. …and my last love was the band that played at the reception. "Wings of Swing Big Band" out of Springfield, Missouri. From the date of 10.10.10 (which happens to be my favorite number) to the beautifully decorated reception area, the details were wonderful and memorable. Below are some highlights from the BIG day…might I add it wasn't easy picking these pictures to use as weddings always present so many options. {grin} Jessica & Keith….here are to many years of happiness!

Kuert Wedding | Tying the Knot
Remember the sneak peek on this wedding? Well, I'm finally posting "thee" blog. {smile} Dan & Michelle’s Wedding Celebration was a GREAT day! These are just a few pictures that highlight the day’s events. It was a day filled with excitement, emotions and much love! I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be a part of it. I also did my first photo booth at this wedding and it was a blast! All the guests loved it….there were lines every time we opened it up for more pictures! I may need to add it to my a la carte for weddings! (sidebar: a big shout out to my brother-n-law, Steve who helped me out with the photo booth and got some great shots as well through out the day). Dan and Michelle – thank you so much for allowing me the privilege of capturing your big day! I wish you much love and laughter in your future!

Sneak Peek | Tying the Knot
Dan & Michelle were married in Brattleboro, Vermont on October 2, 2010. It was a FANTASTIC day with tears, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. {GRIN} This wedding was special. Why you say? Well, this was my little brother’s wedding…BIG day. It’s hard to believe that he’s not a little boy anymore. Wow…that’s a hard one to swallow. I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else but behind the camera that day. Although I’m sure I missed out of some on the fun stuff, it was worth every minute and I had a great view!! Here are a few “random” pictures to hold you over, but I promise there will be more.
