Sisters Shoppe: Arcola, IL

A few weeks ago, I went on a mini getaway with my twin sister to Arcola, IL.  We stayed at a quaint Bed & Breakfast and enjoyed exploring the area.  Well, if any of you know me or my sister….you know that we love shopping!   We went walking down Main St. in Arcola and just did our thing - spend money!  {BIG GRIN}  We found this one shoppe and well, I loved it the minute I entered the door.  SISTERS SHOPPE was the name and that already struck a cord as my sister and I are extremely close.  This lovely store was started back in 2007 by sisters, Julie and Jenni and is full of treasures for all ages!  It was evident that much time and creativity were put into every element of the store.  As a photographer, a crafty gal and when I have time….a scrapbooker, I not only impressed but captivated by the store.   In fact was so taken by the store that I asked if I could capture some images and feature them on my blog.  Irene, the mother of the sisters {I just love how that sounds} was working that day {she's the gal in the photo below} and was kind enough to agree.  The textures, colors, and usage of so many neat items within the store was FABULOUS!  Below are some images giving a short virtual tour; however, please know that it's even more amazing in person!  Maybe these image will nudge you to plan a trip and visit Sisters Shoppe on 210 East Main St. in Arcola, Illinois.
