I've been restless to get some type of spring picture this year and finally eyed a spot in the neighborhood that I thought had some serious potential while walking the dogs. *smile* So my camera and I made our way there this week and had a "mini session". For being weeds...in every sense of the word...these pictures turned out AMAZING and I couldn't have been happier with the results! I love the color and texture! I know, I'm bias, but seriously…their serene looking! *wink* My main intention was to get some dandelion (aka: parachute ball, puff ball) pictures, but the last one…well, that was an added bonus! I decided to do some research on dandelions in the course of putting this blog together and must say that the whole life cycle of dandelions' is pretty fascinating. I may embarrass myself a bit here, but I honestly didn't know that when the yellow dandelion's petals fall off a circle of seed forms which is the puff ball we've become accustomed to seeing. So, who said weeds are an eyesore? I'll have to beg to differ.
