“A rose is a rose is a rose”

Today was one of those days that I decided to take a little time and shoot some roses from a floral arrangement. Although portraits are my favorite, I love shooting other things like flowers to challenge myself and play a bit with composition and lighting. After shooting a set of pictures I decided to take the pictures and play with some textures! How fun! In looking at this picture a little larger, the texture takes on the look of canvas and it feels more like a painting!
